The site uses a number of navigation methods to allow you to find information.

1. The Navigation Bar.
This is situated at the top of each page. Pop up menus will appear when the mouse pointer is moved over the page headings on the bar. Items within each pop up menu are links to topics within that page. This feature will only work on version 4 (or higher) browsers with 'scripting' enabled.

To check if scripting is enabled on the Internet Explorer v.4 browser, go to TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS - click the SECURITY tab at the top of the dialogue box. Under SECURITY LEVEL FOR THIS ZONE the default is MEDIUM which has scripting enabled. If you wish to reset to the defaults click DEFAULT LEVEL - APPLY and OK. You will have to restart the browser for the change to take effect. If you wish to browse with scripting turned off, there are text only links at the bottom of each page.

2. In-page links.
Links within the pages can also be used to navigate the site. Some words which may be unfamiliar are linked to a glossary. If you use these links, a 'back button' has been provided to return you to the main body of text. Links to external sites are opened in a new browser window.

3. There is a text only link bar at the bottom of each page.

Some images in the site have labels which will appear when you move your mouse pointer over them.
